London - Pubs & Bars - Pubs
I'm giving the Boston 3 stars mainly through fear. This is a pub not to be approached under any circumstances in a suit. The beer is cheap, people will try and sell you cheese and bicycles, and there is the potential for a bar brawl brewing upon a late night. One of my most recent trips at the tail end of a birthday pub crawl, we ventured in, went to the bar and suddenly the chairs and pint glasses were flying - in a way quite intriguing to watch but then again some people like rubber necking...
Oddly, it can be quite a good place to watch a footy or rugby match as it has a decent big screen, and as Curvey Charlie says it has live music as well, which can be fairly good.
So best things are its cheap and open very late. Oh and when they aren't fighting the locals are actually pretty friendly...
