Qype: Owl Bookshop in London

London - Shopping - Books

Another gem in Kentish Town - this independent bookshop is just a great place to dip into and have a browse. I'm a big fan of independent bookshops as they make such a nice change from having all the usual new releases foisted upon you on walking into a Waterstones. Here, there is a real variety of books on offer in a fairly small shop - it has old favourites, new releases, and favourites from the team on offer.

They cover all the categories you could imagine, also sell a selection of interesting DVDs, and are handy for some great cards and wrapping paper.

On top of that staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and can get hold of any book you are after.

So it may be sacrilege to say this on a website, but don't go to Amazon (or Waterstones for that matter) - go to The Owl Bookshop and order your books there or indeed go for a browse and pick up something you might never have thought of reading.
